NSLS Impact Day is a nationwide movement where chapters and members unite to serve their local communities. On October 25, 2025, each chapter will lead or join a volunteer project—whether by partnering with a nonprofit organization or creating their own initiative.

Together, these efforts will create 500+ visible service events across the country in a single day. Whether your event involves five members or fifty, every effort contributes to a powerful nationwide movement that reflects the NSLS mission to build stronger leaders and stronger communities.

Impact Day is your chance to make a real difference and to be seen. Every event—big or small—adds to the movement, demonstrating the collective impact of NSLS nationwide.

By participating, you’ll strengthen your leadership skills, create visibility for your chapter on campus and in your community, and connect with fellow members who share a commitment to service. Even a small project can leave a big impression when it’s part of something this large.

Chapter Leaders will create events and post them in the Members Area calendar for members to join. If your chapter isn’t hosting an event, you can organize your own project or volunteer with a local organization. No matter the scale—from a few members helping at a food pantry to a campus-wide clean-up—every effort counts. There is no cost to participate in Impact Day. Your investment is your time, energy, and leadership. By joining this nationwide movement of hundreds of service events, you’ll not only strengthen your own skills and give back locally—you’ll also add to the visibility and collective impact of NSLS across the country. Even the smallest events contribute to the momentum of a unified national day of service.
