The NSLS chapter at North Carolina Wesleyan College recently held its second induction ceremony, inducting 90% of new members who joined last fall. The ceremony took place at the Dunn Center for the Performing Arts, and Ron Green, Chief Professional Officer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tar River Region, provided the night’s keynote address focused on themes of generosity and love.
In support of the theme, members and their guests were encouraged to bring coats, toys, and hygiene items as a donation to the local Boys & Girls Clubs.
“I am pleased to report that we have been very successful this semester," Chapter Advisor Jessie Langley told the Rocky Mount Telegram. "Ninety percent of those who joined in August have achieved induction, exceeding the national goal of forty percent."
