LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dear Member,
As we welcome May with its floral landscapes and promises of warmth and new beginnings, I want to take the opportunity to commend you on your accomplishments this semester.
Of course, we all know there have been many unforeseen obstacles to contend with this past year. Still, once again, you've proven that the power of dedication and disciplined leadership can yield remarkable results.
The beauty of 'accomplishment' is that there is a range of them based on the individual goals we all set for ourselves. Therefore, be it a big or small goal accomplished, celebrate the work you’ve done. It’s okay to pat yourself on the back sometimes and be proud of how far you’ve come.
Another highlight of May is that it kicks off graduation season with celebrations occurring all over the country, some in-person and virtually online to honor graduates' accomplishments. It's a proud moment for students to officialize the completion of their studies, as they opt to either advance further in academia or enter the job market in their chosen profession.
To those graduates, remember the NSLS celebrates with you. We take pride in this moment as well. Our mission is always to support members strive toward future success. That means providing essential tools to help you get there, like our upcoming NSLS digital badges that will distinguish you in a competitive job market. I invite you to learn more about our new digital credentials.
Again, for all you've accomplished this year and for the greatness you will achieve going forward, we celebrate you and wish you a splendorous spring!
To your success!
