Hi NSLS family,
In my previous letter, I shared how we've entered the season of giving. It's a special time of year with the upcoming holidays emphasizing compassion, generosity, and helping those in need.
This is the perfect time to show gratitude and embody servant leadership. With that said, I want to thank all of the NSLS chapters across the country who selflessly donate their time and resources to help others year round. As the saying goes, we must lead by example.
I would like to give a special shout out to the NSLS chapters that aided in Hurricane Fiona relief efforts. Most notably, our chapter at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras rallied quickly to collect and donate food, money, and clothing throughout the local community. Well done, everyone!
We must never forget to give back whenever we can because it helps us stay grounded in what matters - family, friends, and loved ones.
Have a wonderful November!
