On April 30th, Sheridan College Society Chapter President Kaysen Townsend, will represent Wyoming as a 2018 New Century Transfer Pathway Scholar in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Paul Young, president of the Northern Wyoming Community College District, which includes Sheridan and Gillette colleges and the Johnson County campus, said Townsend will be the fourth New Century Scholar to come from Sheridan College in the last six years. According to a news release from the college, New Century Transfer Pathway Scholars are selected based on their academic accomplishments, leadership, activities and how they extend their talents beyond the classroom.
